Rotary Polygon Screen is used in Sand Preparation Plants for removal of lumps of sand, large pieces of scrap, non-magnetic and coarse foreign materials from the knocked out used sand or dried new sand. This is done by using rotating hexagonal screen of required size. Polygonal Siever is consists of Sieve Drum, Main Casing, Receiving Chute, Delivery Portion, Disposal chute and Drive Unit. The Sieve Drum resembles the shape of a Hexagonal Pyramid. The Receiving Chute is designed in such a way that the sand will not chock anywhere in the walls of the chute and it will easily reach the sieving area. By the Rotary movement, the sand is sieved and also the lumps breaking operation takes place which thereby improves the recovery of the Return Sand.
